Indian Film Series — The Kimbell

The Arts Center of Brazos Valley, with The Kimbell, The Queen's Film Society, and the City of Bryan, presents a one-day mini-festival of Indian cinema spanning nearly eight decades of artistic innovation. Schedule: 12:00 PM Pather Panchali (Satyajit Ray, 1955); 2:20 PM Kalpana (Uday Shankar, 1948); 5:15 PM All We Imagine as Light (Payal Kapadia, 2024); 7:15 PM reception; 8:00 PM Cactus Pears (Rohan Kanawade, 2025). Each film receives an introduction from an expert in film studies or Indian arts and culture. Part of The Arts Center's second annual Arts and Culture Festival. Individual films $10, one film plus reception $25, all-day pass with reception $40.
