StageCenter opens its 2026–2027 season with J.B. Priestley's classic of mid-20th century English theatre, directed by Tim Scott. In an English industrial city, a respectable family faces a routine inquiry into the suicide of a young girl. As the inspector questions them, each is implicated in her undoing, and the close-knit family's good humor turns to acid. Performances run October 1–17. Presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Dramatists Play Service.

Kimbell Unlocked is a weekly open house for adults 18 and up at the Kimbell Cultural Event Center. Drop in any time to work on your own creative project, bring your own craft, and carve out a corner for yourself—or bring friends and make it a social making session. The space is big, open, and welcoming. From 7 to 10 PM, the Queen's Film Society screens films and the Brazos Fiber Arts group hosts their 'Sit and Stitch' gathering. An inclusive, community-building event where you're encouraged to color outside the lines.
